THE LONG-OFF SHOW WITH JATIN SAPRU

With a title inspired by the iconic “Long off… long off” moment that became career-defining for both Jatin Sapru and Suryakumar Yadav, the show is rooted in iconic cricketing stories, with Jatin doing what he does best: getting cricketers to open up, laugh and tell stories you don’t usually hear.

As a director, the idea was to make it feel less like a formal interview and more like hanging out with a cricketer. From getting a peek into Smriti Mandhana’s under-construction home in Sangli, being built to inspire a sporting culture in the city, to hearing how the Marwari cricketer held back her sweet tooth in pursuit of a World Cup, the fun was in finding these little stories behind the big ones.
